2024 Cabernet Franc Sparkling (Limited Edition!)

Tasting Notes: This small-lot sparkling wine showcases the vibrant personality of Cabernet Franc in a way that few expect. Made from whole berry fruit with minimal skin contact, the wine takes on a pale, jewel-toned blush, delicate in colour yet lively in character.

On the nose, the first impression is fresh-picked red currant, wild strawberry, and cranberry, lifted by a subtle floral note reminiscent of rose petals and spring blossoms. As it opens in the glass, a gentle brioche and almond note emerges, a result of its seven months on the lees, adding depth to the bright fruit.

The palate is crisp and refreshing, with a fine, persistent mousse that delivers energy and elegance. Flavours of tart cherry, raspberry, and red currant, balanced by a lean minerality that reflects the character of the Four Mile Creek terroir. The mid-palate is textured and layered, showing hints of pastry cream and toasted hazelnut, which beautifully frame the fruit without overwhelming its vibrancy.

Finished in the Charmat method, the wine carries a lively sparkle that keeps the profile fun and approachable, while its dry, structured style ensures a clean, refreshing close.
